]]>The Industrial Group’s Beverage Packaging unit “Naturepak” is exhibiting at “DJAZAGRO”; North Africa’s biggest and most prominent Trade Show for Agriculture and Food Production. The objective of the participation is to promote the business unit’s premium and innovative packaging solutions to potential new customers in North Africa in an ambitious attempt to grow the business and expand its geographical reach.
At the show, our Beverage Packaging team in Morocco will showcase “Naturepak’s” latest technologies in ‘Gable Top’ packaging systems and machinery and will campaign for the business’s eco-friendly products.
“Algeria is a strategic country to grow our beverage packaging business. The country has an avid consumption of over 3 billion liters of milk annually. While milk packaging was previously dominated with plastic pouches, the change in packaging regulations issued by the Algerian State in 2015 to ban plastic packaging has opened up a window of opportunity that we wish to pursue aggressively. Gable Top packaging is presently in high demand from local farms and dairy producers” explained Hassen Khemiri, Naturepak’s Business Unit Manager in Morocco and the North African region.
“Naturepak’s” gable-top packaging technology provides a guaranteed solution towards preserving freshness, minerals and vitamins, and locking in the great taste for fresh beverage products. The four billboard panels of a gable top package provide a promotional platform for brands to tell their story and get the differentiation they deserve with stunning visual appeal. In addition Gable Top packaging is in complete harmony with nature, every part of the carton is recyclable, and made from renewable materials. We expect our participation to trigger considerable interest to our products and services and bring us serious opportunities to materialize” added Khemiri.
Established in 2002 as a joint venture between The Industrial Group Ltd. and global paperboard liquid packaging leader, Evergreen-Packaging, “Naturepak” serves dairies, beverage and dry foods customers in the Greater Middle East, Africa and India Subcontinent regions.
Mr. Hassen Khemiri, Business Unit Manager, and Mr. Reda Kadiri, Sales Manager will be present at the show to receive your visits and queries. Feel free to visit us in Hall 1 / Stand J 027.
The exhibition is taking place at SAFEX Exhibition Park in Algeria from April 10th until the 13th, 2017.

“The Industrial Group is highly regarded as an industry pioneer and market leader in the region. Having served on the Group’s Board for over five years has contributed greatly to my decision to
join Sheikh Hussein in his ambitious quest to expand internationally. I am honored to be part of the Group’s success story which spans over six decades of industrial milestones,” added Dr. Al Ansari.

The students were given the opportunity to hear from the Chairman and seek his advice on what builds the character of an aspiring leader.
Here are some remarks from the Chairman’s talk during the gathering:
The visit comes as part of Al-Banawi Scholarship for Personal Development at Franklin University. The objectives of the Al-Banawi Scholarship for Personal Development is to aid students with financial need while also helping to ensure that the University is able to provide peer academic mentoring to students, as well as mentoring with regard to activities, opportunities and behavior that will enhance the performance, personal growth and independence of mentees, thus helping them to become active, engaged, performing and well-adjusted students.
The Al-Banawi Scholarship for Personal Development has been, by all measures, a resounding success. It has provided needed assistance to students whose language, learning, and/or cultural challenges presented clear obstacles to their successful growth and development. At the same time, the Scholarship has provided very important financial resources to a group of student mentors for whom the Scholarship provides necessary financial support. Finally, the Scholarship highlights the importance of leadership for both mentors and mentees. Franklin and Sheikh Hussein A. Al-Banawi recognize leadership as a core value essential to the education of all Franklin students in the pursuit of their career choices.
The Scholarship program is part of The Industrial Group’s active CSR Agenda which is based on actively engaging in building educational programs and supporting institutions needed for breeding grounds for leadership talent.
